Can we all agree Ready Player One was one of the most disappointing sci-fi films of the last couple years? What a waste of so many iconic IPs. They could've made this world a million times more interesting if they didn't use CGI for EVERYTHING.

Science Fiction, or Speculative Fiction if you prefer. Fantasy too. Asimov, Bradbury, Clarke, Dick, Heinlein and other SF books. SF movies and TV shows. Fantasy stuff like Tolkien and Game of Thrones. Laser guns, space ships, and time travel. etc. Star Trek, Battlestar, Star Wars, etc.
Some of the most effective opening scenes in horror focus on driving places (The Shining, Candyman (1992), Get Out).

Lois from DC Super Hero Girls (2019) is underrated. I like how she's the fast talking reporter archetype from the 50s and her relationship with Jimmy is sweet.

I really hate movies like Don't Breathe and Abigail where we're supposed to root for robbers.

The ending to Titans East still makes no sense to me. What do you mean Cyborg hacked into Brother Blood? Hacking doesn't normally mean regrowing limbs.

One of my favorite displeased Dracula faces. It just makes me chuckle.

A lot of people bring this scene up as one of the all-time best Flash scenes and I completely agree with them. Sometimes, the best hero moments are when they talk to other characters like adults and try to reach an understanding. God, do I miss THIS DC.

I am sick of people saying teenager being unlikable in media is "realistic". Just because there are some bratty teens in real life doesn't mean they're fun to watch onscreen.

Don't care what other people say, this is my favorite version of Gwen. She actually gets along with Ben most of the time and she's a joy to watch.

I love The Batman vs. Dracula (2005), but in this scene, Bats should've looked like Darkwing when he was killed by Omni-Man. Dracula SLAMMED his skull into the pavement with all his might. Thank god he was in a kids movie.

Do people like Soul Men (2008)? I mostly watch it for Bernie since it was one of his last films. Not bad, but could've been better.

Just watched an old movie nobody's talking about anymore? Post it here!
Life (1999) is surprisingly a decent watch. Did not expect a Murphy and Lawrence buddy prison film to be that entertaining.

I like "bottle" horror movies like Cube, Cube 2, and Circle.

If you told me 10 years ago Goosebumps was still going to be relevant, I'm not sure I would've believed you, yet here we are a decade later with two films and a Disney+ show.

Can't believe the first Jack Black film is gonna be 10 years old in October. I legit enjoyed it back in the day and I still like it now. I even like Haunted Halloween, though it's nowhere near as good as the 2015 film.

Why does Batgirl's underworld connection look exactly like Canary? Did they just run out of designs and used this one for Dinah in JLU?

Both Red (2010) and Red 2 (2013) are so much fun. Helen Mirren stole the show and my heart.

Just watched an old movie nobody's talking about anymore? Post it here!
Weird comparison, but Castlevania Drac and Hotel Transylvania Drac have very similar backstories, except they had opposite reactions to death. When Lisa was killed by humans, Castlevania Drac took revenge on the world, but when HT Drac's wife was killed by humans, he hid from the world.
A subreddit for the video game franchise and Netflix Original TV Series Castlevania.
I know they're going to eventually team up in the DCU, but it's pretty wild to remember that despite being two of the most iconic superheroes of all time and having dozens of their own films, Batman and Superman has only been in a live-action movie together TWICE.
A friendly community to discuss and geek about Peter Safran and James Gunn's DCU, connected across live-action, animation and gaming
One of my favorite Muscle Man scenes has to be this part from the RS movie where he's both flattered and offended by Benson asking if he orchestrated future Rigby's death as a prank, especially the part where he talks about his hatred of orchestra music.

Rewatching the Simpsons Movie and a thought suddenly occurred to me. Yes, Homer was responsible for the dome being put over the town, but how was he supposed to know that would happen? Lisa never brought it up in her presentation. All she said was it would become a toxic nightmare.

In X-Men 97, why the hell didn't Iceman come back to the X-Men after what happened to Genosha? Sure, there's some bad history there, but thousands of mutants were DEAD. Feels like he could've helped out to some degree.

Super creepy of this restaurant to make a skimpy Supergirl costume considering the public knew her when she was a teenager.
