Happy New Year! Painted some miniatures for my WIP Dieselpunk wargame: The Venedici Republic (left), and Steelhand Empire (right). The game currently features 4 factions which impose gameplay modifiers on a generic unit roster, and is based on 1940 WWII, with inspiration from Foxhole and Marcher.

What scale are battles in Age of Fantasy/Grimdark Future, and how accurately do the games represent the lore in that regard?

Blood Ravens Intercessor Squad completed! The Sergeant holds a special place in my heart, as he was a part of the First Strike starter set, my first 40k box, which my late grandma bought me for easter in 2018. Colors are Khorne Red, Abbadon Black, Zandri Dust, Snow base, and Mephiston Red.

I want to recreate the Force Commander from Dawn of War 2 as my Kill Team Captain from the starter set. Am thinking of using a leftover head from the Intercessor kit and paint it blonde to get the desired result. Suggestions for alternative options are welcome.

Had my (Homebrew Chapter AoD) first go with KT 3rd ed via a Lite Rules game teaching my ma (Word Bearers Legionaires). Very close match, with two Legionaires on the brink of death finishing off my last Intercessor. Lovin' the rules so far, quick to play, and plenty of tactical choices!

Has anyone used the Command Squad combined with other Guard kits to proxy models for the Death Korps (or Kasrkin) Kill Teams? The old name for the DKOK KT box was called Veteran Guardsmen after all.
